Why choose between live music and a DJ?
Acoustic DJ brings both together — live performance when the moment calls for connection, and DJ entertainment when it's time to turn up the energy.
One artist.
Two worlds.
One experience.
The energy of an event changes throughout the night. The entertainment should too. Acoustic DJ moves seamlessly from live performance into DJ entertainment — one cohesive musical experience.

The artist behind Acoustic DJ.
Henry Honkonen is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, originally from southern Maine, who created Acoustic DJ to bring two sides of music together: the connection of live performance and the energy of a great DJ set.
He writes and releases original music as Henry Honkonen, and has built a growing audience for his songs and content — reaching more than 500,000 followers across platforms.
He brings the instincts and presence of a working artist to every Acoustic DJ event — not just the technical role of playing music.

Music that moves with the room.
Your event doesn't stay at one energy level. Neither should the entertainment.
Acoustic
Intimate. Personal. Organic.
DJ
Energetic. Dynamic. Built for dancing.
Every event deserves its own soundtrack.
Book Acoustic DJ, and you book Henry.
No agency. No rotating roster. The artist you plan with is the artist who performs — from first call to last song.

Henry Honkonen · Founder & Performer
Kind Words.
“Henry pulled all the stops for our reception. He sang acoustic for our cocktail hour and did an incredible job. He also helped us with sound to play a recap of our wedding video and for that we were so appreciative. Finally he was able to turn up the mood and energy for a reception with some classic tunes and dance energy! He really worked with us to make our day go exactly how we imagined. 10/10 would recommend!”
“At night he was super in tune with what the crowd on the dance floor was loving which kept vibes high the whole night.”
